Douglas R. Craft
Douglas R. Craft, a former professional football player, is currently the director, president and general manager of operations of Crystal Clear Maintenance, Inc., of Albuquerque and Taos, NM. Crystal Clear Maintenance is a 50-employee company sensitive to the needs of American veterans that specializes in providing janitorial and landscape services for commercial office buildings medial buildings factories, stores, schools, and government offices. The company currently serves clients in New Mexico, Oklahoma and Colorado. A former officer in the US Army, Craft is also a veteran of the Persian Gulf War. He was the first veteran in New Mexico to receive a Patriot Express loan for his business. Crystal Clear Maintenance is an 8(a) certified, Hubzone certified, SDB (Small Disadvantage Business) certified and Service Disabled Veteran Owned business. Originally from Louisiana, Mr. Craft played more than ten years of professional football. He played two years with the N.F.L. Seattle Seahawks and eight years with the Canadian Football league. In 1995, Douglas joined the C.F.L. Baltimore Stallions, the only American team ever to win the Grey Cup. The Grey Cup is the CFL equivalent to the Super Bowl. Douglas ended his career during the 1999-2000 season. Douglas understands and knows the meaning of hard work, dedication and teamwork. Mr. Craft attributes his success to a strong bond, facilitated by a firm commitment with his employees valuing and recognizing their efforts as integral to the company’s success. A driving force in the creation of American Homecoming Foundation and active in numerous organizations working with veterans, Mr. Craft has also been active in the Black Veterans of New Mexico (BVNM.)
