John Cousins
John Cousins is president, treasurer, controller, and a director of Biomoda, a publicly traded (stock symbol: BMOD) biotechnology company that is developing cancer diagnostic assays. He has held that position since 2002. Mr. Cousins holds undergraduate degrees from Boston University and the Lowell Institute School at MIT, and has an MBA from the Wharton School. He began his business career as a design engineer for Ampex Corporation, a manufacturer of broadcast and computer equipment, and the American Broadcasting Company television network. In 1990, Mr. Cousins was named vice president of Cimmaron Business Development Corporation, a southwest regional merchant and investment banking operation. Mr. Cousins became president of Terra Firm, a business-consulting firm in 1996. Since 1999, he has served as vice president, financial officer, and treasurer of Advanced Optics Electronics, Inc., a developmental stage technology company with a primary focus on the development, production and sales of large-scale flat panel displays. Advanced Optics Electronics, Inc., is a publicly traded company on the NASDAQ OTC Bulletin Board. He serves as Treasurer of the American Homecoming Foundation.
